When I was a kid I thought the Genesis version of Aladdin was better
probably because the sprites were more detailed and because I hated this part on the SNES version where the genie tries to murder you in various creative ways

I like both Megadrive and SNES versions. I love how companies made the different versions of games on both platforms in that era so different from each other, and not just port it differently (Aladdin, Castlevania, Turtles, Contra...)

Yeah it was cool that you would get different versions of the same game, but in most cases that just meant that one platform got a good version and one got a lovely version.

Been catching up with the overnight runs, and Gunners Heaven looks like a pretty cool game. I was wondering why I'd never heard of a Gunstar Heroes clone that came out in 1995 for PSX, but turns out it's because the game never came out in the US, and in Europe it was given the stupid loving name of "Rapid Reload."
