Are Freo actually in poor shape? They seem like a perfectly normal team in rebuild mode. They lost a pile of great players to retirement a few years back and they challenged nicely in a few games this year, the kids look alright.

Yeah the young part of our list is a shambles. Most of the younger guys that looked like they might be good just get injured constantly and never develop into anything. Looking back, the window for this list was probably 2016, and we came up against a Swans side that had a fantastic gameplan to deal with our weak forward set up.

They haven't even been especially good games. Hawks Tiges was ok, a few moments of brilliance, but Geelong were shitful last night and the swans are playing with the intensity of a preseason match. There are about 10 GWS fans there and they are all next to the microphone.

I would say the same about GWS too but they brought in so many players the last few weeks they were a bit of an unknown quantity. With a bit of luck the semis will be between properly good teams. Having said that, I reckon West Coast are gonna roll the Pies by 10 goals EDIT: Bucks looks great for a guy in his mid 40s.
