Sounds like they're trying to make it an event like in the usa. Difference is they come from colleges, they're already accomplished athletes and sometimes household names, i can imagine getting excited about it. Not only am I not excited about the "event”, I struggle to get excited about draft results ever. I think smart trading for players a few years in that show potential in areas you lack and developing them well is more important. Carlton doesn't do either, of course.
