But by all means, please share with me more of your experience dressing for interviews as a woman.

University of Wisconsin doesn't change their cs homework between semesters and they are very serious about booting out students who post their work publicly. Sorry not everyone came into their college situation with financial security like you apparently did.

Pollyanna, for reference I am 3 years older than you, also a trans woman, and I have 5 years experience that's probably a fair bit more in depth than what you've indicated you have and I'm only making 132k raw salary as a senior engineer at a major tech company. Your expectations are way out of whack for Boston if you are asking for 120k. You should take the job so you can feed and house yourself while you look for a better job. Life is a series of steps up until you die, stop napping on the stoop.

It's normal to be overwhelmed, but you're always going to be in a better position while employed, because you can always just walk away if you don't like an offer. Every day you're working is a day you're learning and building your resume.

qhat posted:When I got my degree ten years ago in the UK tuition was only £3k/year, even if you went to Oxbridge. So if you did 4 years you leave uni with a total of £28k ish in debt (also factoring in maintenance loans) with 0.9% interest. Now I hear it's roughly £70k at 6.1% interest lol. Sucks to be a centennial. But paying off that kind of loan aggressively is single handedly the best investment decision you can ever make. Be glad you were born in a civilized country sir.

Notice how he edited the list down to the two that could be construed as specific personal criticisms. It can just be an inadvertent pattern of behavior that nevertheless targets an individual.

Cs programs are now riddled with people who aren't actually into the subject matter at all but heard you can get paid a lot to program. They don't engage with the courses but don't switch programs because sunk costs, and then graduate having gamed their way to a degree without absorbing any material. Also 18-22 year olds just don't loving appreciate the education they're receiving and gently caress around on their phones during class. It really stuck out to me how disengaged they were as an adult going back to school.
