The Initial D anime is awesome. The lovely animation and the way that the art style and character designs change drastically every season are part of its charm. Bunta is the best and I want to be his drinking buddy. The show has had such a big cultural impact, not only in Japan but also worldwide among car enthusiasts. At this point it's worth watching for that alone (and all of the resulting references, parodies, and memes).
