I tried the new Pratchett audiobooks and while the quality is definitely there with a superb cast of voice actors, I still prefer the older ones. A large part of it is how they decided to do the footnotes in the new ones. For some reason they chose to open and close the footnotes with some bells, which 1) don't gel well and 2) are twice as long as they should be, so combined they just take me out of the narrative completely. In the older audiobooks they were read by the same voice actor as the main narrative, only performed slightly quicker and with a faint echo which made for a quick humorous aside without interrupting the main story unnecessarily harshly. Just a quick aside, as footnotes are intented.
