I haven't been posting in this thread much on account of there's no good way to resize images on my phone (plenty of bad ways but now I'd need to do a whole batch) but I've made a point to contain my inktober work into a single Twitter thread. https://twitter.com/neoMuffinlord/status/1052242317069996033?s=19 I rolled my own prompts about mechs on account of I couldn't find any that seemed series-agnostic enough, but never really bothered to type them up in anything besides an Evernote document. I'm sticking with Artrage Mobile because it exports to their desktop version and the tools are fairly intuitive.

The reason I recommend getting a better stylus is largely because I have literally broken three S-pens. The metal part on the back is wrapped around a core of some kind of crappy rubber that feels like a mechanical pencil eraser and will give if you grip it too firmly or wiggle them too much. Now I only use it if I'm stuck somewhere I either didn't or couldn't bring the Noris.

Amusingly enough the texture of the scotch tape I'm using to keep the glass from cracking worse is way better than stylus on glossy screen.

Your technique seems fine to me, someone who hasn't painted with real oils in fifteen years, but the ground feels like it's kinda floating in the scene. Maybe use some darker shades to blend into the rocks some more?
