I had to copy a Frazetta for drawing class. I am pretty happy with it. I have mostly fixed the wonky eyes on the left tiger.

Little vignette from our game last night. The party goblin rogue royally pissed off the party sorcerer. Rogue won. That's what happens when all your spells are Dex saves. I'll deepen the blacks later, but it looks a lot better in person.

My wife and her friend's D&D characters. Not high art or anything, but pretty fun way to kill a half an hour with some markers.

Last night was the first night of the campaign, so there is sure to be more. All we did was make characters and run a little combat scenario to get them used to playing. The sisters managed to blast a crocodile to peices, though. I run a game every week, and and try to illustrate at least one scene. If any D&D players are here, they're forest gnome sisters. One is a low charisma forest domain cleric, and the other is a cute-as-a-button wizard. We're doing the Princes of the Apocalypse campaign. The gnome sisters in my D&D campaign fought the Necrodancer last night. He has jazz hands. I can't figure out how to make the camers not wash the colors out. it is so much nicer in person.

I am trying to teach myself how to use watercolor. This is my first attempt. Any of you guys have any advice or good resources? I am not entirely unhappy with it. The lute girl needs more blue to make her sink back a little, I think.

Theokotos posted:I like how intense you got the colors, but as an “also learning/messing around with water color” person, I’d say check out a bunch of YouTube videos of people painting in watercolor, and look at a bunch of finished watercolor paintings. I did use watercolor paper, stole it from my daughter. I plan on watching some videos, anyone have any the recommend? I actually used watercolor brush pens instead of regular watercolor for most of it, I wonder if that caused the more intense look? I don't know, the entire medium is new to me. I actually enjoy the blobbier, saturated style, as you put it. So I might look into acrylics. And thanks for the info!
