An archeologist friend of mine told me that they could determine where old farms used to be (and thus where to dig), by looking at the trees. If you see a straight line of trees in the middle of the woods, that's likely where there was a fence. Birds or squirrels eat seeds/nuts, sit on fence, poop 'em out along the fence line. Hundreds of years later, you've got a perfect row of trees. Sorry it's not a pic, but I find interesting facts pretty blessed.

She even looked kinda like that kitty Sniffling a bit, but in a blessed bittetsweet way. I get real mopey this time of year and that was a much needed "daaaawww". Mom would've loved that video. I lost my dad (also cancer) and then wife (two years later due to undiscovered heart defect) around this time so I know how crappy May can be for some people.

We were watching one of the zoo shows on Animal Planet/NatGeoWild and they were excited to get their first capybaras at the zoo. They were showing off the enclosure they made for them and all I could think of was this picture and how you could stick capys in pretty much any other animal's enclosure there and they'd be right at home with some new friends to boot.
