Really got into this show by episode 10, enjoyed the cast of characters. Finished this on Sunday and was far more upset by the death of Poe on this show than when they killed Coral on TWD last night...

And Martha Higareda is insanely gorgeous.

I think you are correct. My take on HitC was that the rich guys knew they were killing someone who had been illegally recoded Neo-C. So the prostitutes are compliant, because they think they will get a new sleeve, but what the rich people are really paying for is snuffing out a life that will not come back. A murder in the "classic" sense.

Still no word on a S2?

Also, are Envoys like a UN specops thing? Because the show made it seem like only Quell's people were Envoys and they were terrorists who all got stacked during the rebellion.

Poe was probably my favorite character on the show.

I'm guessing same character with a new sleeve, since they talked about ~shipping kovacs and quellchrist~, but it'd be cool if they just blew all that up and made it about some new badass.

Haven't read the books, but it sounds like they would be much more up your alley.
