What are the odds of Dave making a politics post as soon as he's out of kitty jail and eating another probie?

Unrelated, but what's your guys' favorite snake oil for cleaning up a carbed fuel system? Now that the FrankenNova is pretty much driveable, I want to get it running reliably in the spring.

Raluek posted:If it was me, I'd just get rid of any gas that was sitting in it, put in fresh, and run it. If it acts lovely, take it apart and blast everything out with a can of carb cleaner. If a gasket tears, then yeah put a rebuild kit in it. Is it a Holley? (for some reason I remember you having something shameful like a 2-barrel Rochester or something) Because Holleys can warp the face that mates the metering block to the carb, so check that with a straight-edge if you get leaks or if you have it apart. Oh it's shameful, alright. 2 barrel Rochester off the 307. I'll probably pick up a can of Berrymans and blast it before I commit to a rebuild.
