That was one of the Original 6 throwbacks for the 75th anniversary season, the Original 6 teams wore retro jerseys when they played each other

Also their customization is worth every penny because they sew everything

Talent dilution has been a stupid lie for decades. I would have believed it when the league doubled in size and players came from Canada and maybe 2 US states but not since the fall of the Iron Curtain

What happens to your PK% if you manage to give up 4 goals on a single powerplay?

By rule, a major penalty is calculated as the number of goals scored plus one. So that PP counts as 4 for 5.

Do not question things. Our agents are in place. Orpik, Kunitz, Fleury. Accept the threepeat.

Going to the Olympics has zero value to the NHL besides as a bargaining chip against the players, they are always going to publicly say it's not happening and they need to be convinced

Schenn going from Philadelphia to St. Louis is similar in that regard. Also, the entire Las Vegas Golden Knights roster.

The Golden Knights are not the Cleveland Indians from Major League. Their roster is not guys who would be in the AHL until expansion created 20 new nightly roster spots.

Not in a salary cap league they don't, which was the driving factor behind almost all of the protection decisions not "we think you suck, piss off". What about the unprotected guys who weren't picked and stayed put?

If the point of the draft is to redistribute new talent to the worst teams, there shouldn't even be a lottery let alone some wacky scheme to actually win a high draft pick.

Or is a draft really about controlling player agency.

Baseball and hockey didn't have drafts until the 1960s. This is patently ridiculous.
