Fun thing: Bloatflies don't spit at you. They are mutated botflies, they shoot their larvae at you. The thought is that if you die, your corpse will become a nest for them, and one day in a few weeks hour bloated corpse will explode into dozens of Bloatflies.

I usually start the game with a grenade rifle (it, it's ammunition and the water canteen are the only things I don't drop or sell at the beggining of the game), thanks to the courier's stash. I tend to keep the grenade rifle until I meet old Vulpes. Then I proceed to waste all my AP into chunking him and his Legionaries

Jon, from Many a Truck Need, does some insane poo poo. Permadesth mode was too easy for him, so he made his "You Online Live Once" runs, which are about one permanent health bar, no healing. He even has a self counter for it because the game has a slight time based healrate, and entering DLC resets your HP and Rads. And he completed both New Vegas and Fallout 3 under those rules.

The game starts with the Amber UI. UNLESS you play Tale of Two Wastelands, which changes it to green as the first default.

Of the time I've sunk I to FO4... I think it's like 85% settlements. No hyperbole, I love building them. Sim Settlements was supposed to make me spend less time on it, but it backfired, now I spend hours making the perfect raised cities. (I tend to build tons of foundations so my cities are mostly level).

I the Gunrunners arsenal dlc was introduced to fix that and include a ton of high value items to buy. And people bitched anyway about having to farm caps to get the new weapons.

Taking in account that Borous had Gabe since he was in high school, I'm assuming Gabe was pretty old when he got robotized, since getting enough doctorates to become one of the chief researchers of Big MT should take at least until your mid to late thirties

In most games I would agree, but the fact that New Vegas favors high DAM weapons over high DPS weapons really puts a dent in your argument.

Hrm. Well, the minimal to no commentary breaks the only fallout based YouTuber I care about, Many a True Nerd, who is known to have gone through all of New Vegas and the DLC in a single healthbar, with no healing of any kind beyond the increasing max HP per level. It is amazing, permadestb on steroids.

Uhhh... The holorifle isn't a shotgun. The "bullet" looks like it is dispersed but it is basically a sniper rifle. I would know, I've taken shots from half the map away with it.
