I'm rather liking our protagonist's personality, it's just -something- about that deadpan snarker attitude that gets me. I look forward to seeing this LP continue and see just what kind of trouble she gets herself in.

Compared to FO3 and NV, you could tell it was mostly Obsidian behind the latter. They actually did everything they could to ENGAGE a player, DLCs included, and the upcoming town was just fantastic at establishing one of the factions, hoo boy, what a trip NV was. Shame 4 sucked so much rear end compared to NV. Infinitely gaining levels...bah, a level 50 cap is plenty to establish a character with perks every other level.

Once again, good poo poo coming out of your updates. I can only assume Vulture will be wearing that trophy for a while yet, she's obviously the most dangerous thing on the east coast, not the Legion.

Psh. That's the wussy way to deal with him. Just grab the nearest Melee weapon and chunk his rear end with the fury of a thousand suns. Alternatively: EXPLOSIONS?!!!

You know, I can't get over how nonchalant Sun Vulture is about cannibalism. Also Ed being the stereotypical "Can't communicate with words but the protagonist can understand them anyways" archetype was always a fun setup between characters. So many things to say in just a few short beeps. also looking forward to seeing Sun Vulture eating the top quality meats. I admit, I can't wait to see how she handles the newfound power of the gods in her stomach. :unsmigghh: Hope you got some really special dialogue ready for that moment

Huh. Never thought to bribe the NCR to let the khans go. I always had the speech (Or chems) to pass the speech check. So yea, nice to see other solutions. Quick question though, have you ever gone and beelined to certain DLC scenarios? I remember doing it for Old World Blues, hell of a lot of fun as a level 7-10 courier.

I've done both LR and OBW at low levels. LR is really rough even if it vomits supplies at you and OBW is honestly easier if anything. HH I can't imagine would be difficult even at level 1 though. DM is always it's own horrible, horrible thing.

I honestly liked DM as a DLC, even if it had some bullshit that didn't need to be in there. I'm just glad that once everything is over, you can freeroam it without any consequences and not deal with it's mechanics if you missed anything in the "main" area.

I'm STILL holding out very faint hope we get remasters of FO3 and New Vegas on PS4. I still have my PS3 and all...but the file bloat on that console gets really bad, really fast. Think when I hit post-game in FO3 (AKA: Broken Steel) my main file from years ago had about 10 gigs worth of data in it.

:allears: God I love how sensitive Veronica is to canibalism. It's even better now that Vulture's gone to irradiated beef jerky Ghouls and Muties. It's gonna be fun when she starts snacking on people who are higher up the food chain than her...does this mean she gets a vulcan promotion when she does that or is she just gonna go out to kill everyone? Also, I like to (after saving Goodsprings from the crackhead Powder Gang menace) head pretty much -straight- for Chance's grave, casadors or not. That knife makes melee early on a LOT easier, broad machete or no.

I had to restart that character. There's no way out of that nightmare when you're level 2.

Were you climbing the cliffs in the surrounding area? That's what I kinda do, get up on the cliffs to the side of Goodsprings and just go from there to dig up Chance's Knife. But I did have a ton of Dynamite and my grenade rifle to murder them from above, was so funny watching them try to climb up the cliff to get to me...until they did and I started getting stung...GOOD THING I HAD A TON OF SODA TO HEAL WITH!

Does that Saturnite fist stay eternally hot with the power of toast, or will you have to stop by occasionally to recharge?

Much like the fire of canibalism that burns within Sun Vulture, the saturnite fist's never goes out and will continuously burn away the evils of the world (that isn't Sun Vulture)

Edit: Also, I'd like to point out that, even at low levels (I started this at 6 earlier this week) it's a loving GOLD MINE for gaining caps. The shop interface has about 10k+ caps on hand usually, it refreshes it's inventory every once in a while (Though I -think- you have to stay outside The Sink for it to restock, about 3~ days worth of staying outside the sink) and it has a tendency to sell Stimpacks, Prime and Powder Sets (obviously for those who have a bunch of casings around and use guns) and has a buttfuckton of ammo, I'm thinking this also extends to DLC ammo from the Gun Runners Arsenal, but even if it doesn't, you'll have more than enough gun and energy ammo to buy. Not to mention stuff like the Proton Axes, Lobotomite Mask and Goggles and even the lobotomites wearing Patient's Gowns can sell for a hundred or so caps at the low end when fully repaired (Depending on Barter of course), so...yea, if you're willing to put up with more damage than you normally take at level, OWB can be quite useful to low level characters...just be prepared to be using Melee or Guns (you can get a K9000 upon a successful Guns 50 check at the start of the DLC with the brains, more ammo with a 75) until you start finding actual Energy Weapons or Saturnite Fists if that's the path you wanna walk down.

I like Christine and God a lot, shame the DLCs are self contained. But I always make it a habit to get the good ending for all three characters trapped in this hellhole Also Christine's perk isn't AS great as it might seem. It's more an alternative to finding and gambling with a 10 luck casino chips in the DLC it's self since Batteries and Scrap aren't TOO terribly hard to find but there's a FAR easier way to get them, but that requires beating the DLC first and having a lot of time on your hands to wait out in game to basically generate infinite caps forever.
