I realize this isn’t the SAD thread but something about winter was extra cold and dark and particularly oppressive this year imo I didn’t have heat in my car for the first month or so so that was awful. fortunately I got to borrow my gf’s car for most of that time so I wasn’t constantly assailed by below 20s weather

oh here is a thing that literally just happened to me as I was leaving work (as I type on my phone my car is heating up) pro tip: if you’re out late somewhere and the weather is going to be icy, carry a lighter with you. my lock was stuck and I had to heat my key until it finally gave way and let me in
