Pederson should have won COTY

He's Coach of Our Hearts

I wonder how much or how little Pederson's coaching style will impact the way other coaches act and adjust. Personnel is a big part of it (having strong offensive and defensive lines that can create or negate pressure the entire game—all on their own—no doubt leaves you plenty of room to play more aggressively), but there are teams out there with more potent offensive weapons whose coaches have to be looking at the risks Pederson took throughout the year and thinking, "Well, why can't we do that?"

Chip Kelly's team looked like hot poo poo until teams figured out how to shut his offense down entirely. I'm not sure Pederson's doing anything particularly new offensively outside of just being aggressive and making strong halftime adjustments.

Like, if Reid had Pederson's aggressiveness, McNabb may very well have made it to a few more Super Bowls.

It was either sign Jimmy G to a long-term, massive contract or franchise him for 2 years and have him leave via FA and trade a 2nd round pick for Alex Smith to replace him

It sure seemed to matter in the Super Bowl when Brady threw for 505 yards and they still lost.

I mean, if Reid wasn't prone to turtling up, and having his offense run 2 minute drills in 6 minutes with a huddle between every snap, he'd be a Hall of Famer.

It was you axiel wasn't it? Or maybe not. Someone was doing this.

I had said that ironically, but it was entirely as an indictment of schwartz inability to be a head coach and nothing to do with pederson.

Well we won a Super Bowl and now he's back in college coaching at UCLA where he'll never amount to anything so I'm mostly satisfied.

Still want him busted down to high school football though but its hard to be too mad these days.

Don't be a poo poo to your wife, kids

quote:

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports the Panthers are expected to hire an outside candidate for their general manager vacancy.

Under investigation by the league for harassment against his ex-wife, interim GM Marty Hurney appears to have been taken out of the running. Thus far, the Panthers — who are also looking for new ownership — have interviewed 49ers executive Martin Mayhew, Texans assistant GM Jimmy Raye III, and Bills executive Lake Dawson.
