Depends on what you'd consider a gimmick. (Protean Greninja? Drizzle Politoed? Shuckle? Smeargle? Pyukumuku?)

All of those things I listed have seen at least some play.

Also, it may not learn selfdestruct or explosion, but Castform's easy combos can give it a niche in beauty contests - that's what I used mine for.

Seviper has a good tough movepool, but I've never actually used one in a contest before.

Seviper's special set is probably a little better than its physical set but having no STAB seems against the spirit of the thing. It probably wouldn't make the cut for team 2, but by god Seviper is gonna have its day in the sun! actually gently caress that, team 2 uber alles

I have never played an Orre game but I know a lot of people who get really excited about shadow pokemon, so it'll be interesting to see how they're actually used instead of being edgy oc fodder.
