Can you explain what you mean here to us non-car peoples? Also what hill bombing is?

RWD is rear wheel drive. Locking it in second or third gear would keep the engine at the peak of the power band for tight turning roads where you're not just blasting at 150mph. Hill bombing would just be going around those winding roads up hills with a lot of 180 turns.

I don't recall what double clutch glitch the Banshee had though.

I wanted to see what it was like so yesterday I did 5 laps each of two levels just by myself and it seems awful. I assume playing them with pubbies would just have everyone slamming into each other like normal.

Already looking forward to my second playthrough of RDR2 when I rebuy it on PC in two years just so I can sit on the top of a cabin picking off cougars with mouse aim instead of a controller.

I don't imagine you'll ever make a ton of money just sandboxing solo, but it's nice just enjoying the gameworld without all the single player stuff hassling you and having access to everything that's been added to online. I enjoy just driving around doing the gang attacks. You can register as a CEO and once you buy the Buzzard you can easily do sightseer and the one where you transport the suitcase for easy money. I forget, can you do the car import/export in an invite only session or it has to be public? And if you're the only person around it just adds NPC's to shoot up your car here and there.

Reading through the link in the e-mail they sent, I didn't get a feel for whether this update provides much to do if you never bothered getting the MC or packages stuff. I just did the CEO business and import/export garage. Will this provide any solo content for me to mess around with, or just a new place to store cars?

I would love if the "single player" were just a bunch of fun missions and alternate activities you could do solo in a private session, as long as there's some forced offline save system so that when the servers eventually go down you're still able to play it all on your own.

Two delays so far. Last Take 2 shareholders call indicated no further delays, plus the marketing campaign has begun. Release date is final.

The big question is the PC release date. When GTA5 came out on consoles I was expecting PC release within a year, but then the new generation of consoles came out and they decided to rerelease on those before a PC release so it was the longest gap between console and PC release of any GTA game. I've heard people talking about a PS5 but I assume that's far enough off that we won't have to worry about it this time? I mean I'm gonna get RDR2 for PS4 anyway, but I'd already like to replay it on PC as soon as possible.

Wait, so all us LLJK pc people aren't active enough and the solution is to splinter it into a separate group? Why don't any pc people who want to be active just join the existing one and get it active again? I still haven't gotten a chance to play the new hunting pack stuff.

Not true, the other way to play is to start gta5 in single player, create a solo invite only online game, spawn in your garage to sell a gallavanter baller at the auto shop then drive to the casino to spin the wheel. Then maybe find one gang attack based on the time of day, do some headshots, then log off because that was all you had time for. It's pointless and joyless and I've been doing it for years!

I preordered the moment they put it up on the store, but once it launched and I actually installed it, woof. Still though, driving by 10 Green Bottles made me real nostalgic for the goon-run San Andreas roleplay server. I did submit a ticket to see if I can get a refund (which apparently you can't if you've played two hours or more so I'm not sure I have since the game is gone from the launcher, so if they grant me one I'll probably just rebuy it when it's down to $20 and continue on. I've at least got to get to the point I can steal one of the harley style motorcycles and jump the canyon. LEATHER CHAPS!

Yeah you need a solo public session. As mentioned you can pause GTA for ten seconds 8n resource manager, which I did for years until recently someone said just download "Guardian" and they're right, it's way easier to just run that as administrator, launch GTA online then not worry about it. The best advantage over pausing it in resource monitor is that once you're in a session it also prevents new people from joining.

If you can only buy one thing is the kosatka still the recommendation or is the agency better now?

Consider what it is you're going to do with money in this game. Everything you spend money on is located in Los Santos and can be enjoyed in between (or during) agency missions and other stuff to mix up the monotony. You can't use any of it on some compound on an island. You're only there to grind the exact same mission over and over.

I got the arcade when it came out just so I could walk into a place with that 80's arcade carpeting. I knew it wouldn't ever be profitable so I didn't bother putting actual arcade machines in until I had 50 million sitting around because I never buy anything in this dumb game. I just log in to grind cheap stuff like stealing cars for export and modifying cars for customers and delivering them because driving around Los Santos is how I relax after everyone goes to bed, but eventually that money adds up if you don't spend it on stuff.

It will 100% be worse at launch and probably take years to get as fun as we'd like it to be. I'm hoping that knowing that will prevent me from buying a PS5 just to play the story mode, so I can wait for a PC port. I'm just really craving a graphical update every time I drop off a customer's car from my garage and watch their crappy dead-eyed models try to express some half-assed enthusiasm for their newly modified vehicle with the worst colored wheels since the last customer.

Any way they would keep "GTA: Online" and buying gta6 would just give you access to the new city, with all the characters and resources kept completely separate? I imaging the coding would be so different that would be a silly solution, but it'd also probably be easy to just keep the two ecosystems separate with just a "pick city" option at game launch.
After playing the same gameworld for so long its hard for me to imagine gta6 looking significantly better, so in my mind it wouldn't be that jarring flipping between the two, but I certainly hope the graphics blow me away.

It's no more boring than most grind-oriented single player games though. I do it almost daily, just not for very long. At this point there's more than enough stuff to log on an do if you buy a business or two. Running a couple missions is just an excuse for me to drive around with the radio on. As a solo player I'd definitely recommend Franklin's business as a priority, then probably Auto Shop then Acid Lab.
