 Hey new GTO players. Here's what you want to focus on in Online.  -A Bunker, for doing research to unlock MK2 weapons and components. -An apartment with a heist room, to host OG heists. -A Facility, to exploit the Bogdan mission for 1mil every 15min. Also unlocks ability to host Doomsday Heists. There is a LOT of setup required here. -An Arcade, to host the new Diamond Casino heists. Money good. Weapons research good. Heists good (with goons). Other things you might like: -CEO Offices provide a lot of garage space. But don't waste cash/time on all the other SecuroServ grindy crap. -Motorcycle Club Clubhouse allows you to instant spawn bikes near you. Again, don't waste time on Drug Manufacturing grindy crap. Weapons/Vehicles No doubt you'll find weapons/vehicles that suit your tastes. These are just generic things to get you started. Vehicles -Buzzard: Helicopter. For anything in freeroam that requires you go A to B. Has missiles. Can't be used during missions. This is what you use before you get your Oppressor MK2 to do your boring free roam PVE poo poo. -Armored Kuruma: Excellent for PVE content. You won't die to bullets while in this vehicle. -A Super: I like the Nero Custom. Everyone has an opinion on which super is the best. The point is they get you from A to B during missions quickly if you don't need your armored Kuruma for it. -Oppressor MK 2: Requires Nightclub and Terrabyte. 9mil investment altogether. Once you have it, you want Chaff to be your countermeasures. A little practice with chaff/map-awareness and not even other Oppressors will be able to get one over on you. Guns -Carbine Rifle: Not special carbine but that's not terrible either. Generic shooty shooty. Aim for the head. Replace with MKII when you can. -AP Pistol: Go-to weapon when shooting from inside a vehicle or boat. -Sniper Rifle: Not the Heavy. This is for stealth PVE content. Add a silencer. MK II Guns (available with Bunker Research) -Carbine Rifle MK II: Extended Magazine. Generic all-purpose shooty shooty. Aim for the head. -Heavy Sniper MK II: Use explosive ammo. You'll be able to destroy aircraft and other vehicles pretty easily on foot. (yes, it costs a lot of time or money to get MK II weapons. Yes, it's worth it) Explosives -RPG: You know what this is all about. This and the homing launcher you want for some specific PVE stuff. -Homing Missile Launcher: This loses a lot of utility once you get the Heavy Sniper MK 2. Good to have until you do though. -Proximity Mines: Just for fun in PVP. Set traps. Put them around vehicles warehouses for maximum tears. -Sticky Mines: More fun PVP stuff. Stick five to one tough vehicle while off the radar. Blow them all at once. -Compact Grenade Launcher: Can be used from motorcycles. One-hit explodes most cars. Super awesome. Things not to spend money/time on: -Bunker Gunrunning. Lame Grind -SecuroServ Vehicle Warehouses (import/export) Lame Grind -SecuroServ Crate Warehouses Lame Grind -MC Drug and other Illicit Goods Manufacturing? Whatever they call them. Lame Grind -Nightclub Lame Grind that requires you got all the other Lame Grinds operating. You'll eventually need to buy this for an Oppressor MK2, but that's going to be a $9mil investment overall before you're flying your own so don't worry about this until you're established. -Arena War content. It does have fun vehicles to buy when you have a stupid amount of extra money. Until then, not worth your time. You need some cash? Send me a PM on here or Discord. We can get you started. I don't recommend RDO then. You think GTO is broken, doesn't hold a candle to Red Dead Online.

Watch out for cheater money that rains from the sky. That gets detected in the anti-cheat. Grab a lot, and your money gets reset to 0... which is okay if you're spending it so you don't carry cash on hand... but grab A WHOLE LOT and they'll just reset your character.

I like being able to have both out when doing certain missions and a unupgraded oppressor is kinda lame. A lot of people grab flares for it. I highly recommend chaff. Chaff and map awareness will serve you way better against other oppressors who can rapid fire enough missiles that the flares ultimately can't stop.
