I deleted my character cause I realized that I was doing bad things (like buying in Paleto Bay). Getting a free apt in Alta cause I kept the level was a nice surprise.

In as BoldestofBold. It's really a different experience playing with goons

Entirely luck of the draw. If you got two dune buggies or two of the 5 drop insurgents it'd be a struggle to do two on your own.

And in case you've not seen it yet, if you get a delivery vehicle you don't like you can switch to another session and try again. You'll lose a small amount of product value as a penalty, I think 14k worth?

You lose like 7k per vehicle spawned, in my experience. And like VectorSigma mentioned, you're best off upgrading your bunker first, then buying 75k of supplies and selling those whem the supplies run out. It's one vehicle deliveries, and either 140k or 210k sale if you're taking the longer route. There is also a High Demand bonus if you sell in a populated session (1% per player not in your org/mc).

Also, those gifs :allears:

You need to upgrade everything but security in the bunker so you can get the 140k in stock from 75k in purchase of supplies

If you are driving around in the armored Kuruma, you are restricted to pistols only, since the plates around the windows 'prevent' you from throwing bombs around.

I've found the nightshark to be a good griefing tool as well. Sure you only get some lovely front mounted machine guns, but fully upgraded it takes 27 missile hits to explode, so you can just grind people into paste while they call you a modder cause your car did not blow up with their missile :haw:

Last week was the only time it's been acceptable to scope the tequila if you're doing cayo heist solo. I usually take the reroll if that's what shows up

Like Fart.Bleed.Repeat said, there's no quick way but it can be done. As soon as you scope something undesirable, session hop, get out of the Kosatka if that is your spawning point, call Pavel and cancel the heist. Then go back in and start Cayo again.

Thanks for everyhting. I scoped it out last night solo and completed all the gear prep. Failed the submarine prep because my Stromberg shot itself off into the distance off the playable may area where I can't physically swim. This happened after stealing the sub jammer and completely loving me because I got shot to death by helicopters. By the time I got back to it and grabbed it the mission failed.

I'll finish all the prep tonight and try for the heist proper for the first time.

You can also park your kosatka on top of the merryweather sub so escaping is just a matter of swimming up. No helis spawn this way too

Entry drainage tunnel and exit main dock will guarantee you elite challenge rewards, can be done in about 10 minutes. Can even go up to airstrip with a boat from the main dock if you don't have a filled bag and still beat the timer.

I go with the military rifle weapon loadout cause it comes with sticky bombs and those help deal with the guards standing in pairs in several spots of the compound and island (R* logic: kill by explosion is still stealth kill). For the rest, just gotta lead them a bit to kill moving guards, hth

Just fire grenades or rpgs to the areas you know have NPCs in areas where they will blast you first . Worst that can happen is that the blast wave clips you in the meantime

Some folks' brainworms have a dragon's hoarding mentality, so the only way they can be satisfied is by seeing the cash counter go up. Sparing a dollar for expenses makes the green number go down and that's not acceptable.

Well-phrased to imply that we all have GTAO brainworms, it's just different kinds of brainworms preying upon us.

I have spreadsheets, but they're geared more towards optimizing storage of my beautiful digital hoard.

Some people collect money, others grind levels, others keep meticulously maintained garages, and yet others sustain their brainworms by mining salt from pubbie tears. Especially by blowing up sale vehicles.
