all of my rats have been female and I’ve been following a sweets motif for them. Coffee, cream, cookie, vanilla, etc. what I wanted to do if I ever got males (and feel free to do so) is go with a savory theme instead. Salt, pepper, vinegar, and so on. I also considered Frasier & Niles because they’re canonically names after lab rats.
