tabs. new windows are garbage tier unless ur going ~*incognito*~

e: new windows are also acceptable if you need two to see two different websites at the same time. that�s it though!

i have never worked with another developer who understands how tab stops work, and most of them also do not know how to control the indentation settings of their editor. it must be nice but you shouldn't assume that everyone is so fortunate

like I recently took over a project where the owners attitude on indentation and line wrapping was "maybe" and spent a week going through it line by line to bring some kind of consistency and the team I handed off to is already mixing it up :sigh:

80 is great so you can side-by-side that poo poo, have that poo poo appear in a web page without shitloads of line breaks if your browser isn't fullscreen, etc.

120 would probably be okay in most contexts though
