At Werk The World right now with my partner. Jinkx is out of drag and 3 seats away; when I said “they won season 6!” he shrugged, but as soon as I said “uh... they voiced Emerald in Steven Universe” he almost pooped. This show is sick as hell and if you get the chance, please see it. Asia is a killer host, Kameron is exceptional, Violet’s set and burlesque made my partner declare that he no longer recognizes gender when it comes to sexuality, and we’re only at intermission. Aquaria, Valentina and Detox are still up to do their sets.

Alyssa’s show hot takes- I think they used up every container of Vaseline south of the Bible Belt on these lenses. I’m not familiar with any “dance mom” stuff but this is horrifying. I’m entranced!

The show is great if you fast-forward through all the emotional porn with Alyssa and his sisters because oh my god it's exhausting. I hope Willow and Gabe find incredible success; they're so talented and chill. You can tell they're well-raised because they don't have banshee mothers storming into the practice studio.

AS2 happened just a couple months after S8, and AS3 was just a couple months after S9. There hasn't been any room to breathe, and it's definitely taken away from Bob and Sasha's reigns in my opinion. There's no reason to have AS4 so soon; kinda feels like the pool is getting a bit shallow for All Stars

Bringing back anyone from AS1 is totally fine by me since they were so, so mistreated by the trash fire that was the team-up deal. bringing back regular season winners though, I dunno. Bebe wasn't all that great, Raja doesn't seem the type to be into it, seasons 4 and on are well-known enough that it would be weird, and Tyra turned out to be a pretty miserable bastard all around. Didn't they threaten to bomb Dragcon or something? yeesh.
