Something I noticed in the previous thread is that some people seem to really have a fixation in picking queens to hate. It's weird to me because it's so outside the spirit of the real life drag scene. I can't tell if it's just the effect reality shows have on people or if it's straight fans trying to larp a stereotype of a bitchy gay person, but either way it skeeves me out. Drag is love.

like, the whole time she gives me this vague feeling that she's really just cargo culting her drag and doesn't super understand what it's all about. a lot of her looks felt more "costume" than "drag" to me. that tommy wiseau comparison really captures the feeling pretty well tbh.

I'm enjoying the vixen trying to bully aquaria into a full meltdown after she brought the weak shade over supposed look stealing. I have empathy for eureka because I've had joint injuries and I was always really tentative after too. She looked like she woke up in the lip sync so hopefully she'll start bringing it. Monet is literally discount Bob. Yuhua is definitely a girl pretending to be a boy because drag race hates trans. Was not a fan of that gender fluid joke in the dance number.

The jokes aren't usually that funny and half the time something offensive ends up in there. I wish there were more pure drag challenges again distinct from the runway looks.
