Even if a time traveler told me they'd be gone in the next 20 years we'd still need something to transition from here to there.

The sad thing is Millennials are actually much better at saving for retirement than older generations. I would unironically support gutting SS as long as everyone got hosed equally. Like, olds get cut off immediately, thrown into the streets to die.

Yes, Lady Dierdre is OP, but after the disaster of the Trump years, we're going to need to catch up a bit. Vote Green 2020. Dierdre doesn't have to threaten the drones with nerve stapling to make them go into the tanks at age 65, they go willingly, out of a strong and compelling societal commitment to eco-socialism.

You receive an enhanced basic income that would cover the average monthly cost of an all inclusive retirement community + 15%. All UBIs are also pegged to inflation and production and the amount given is adjusted quarterly or monthly. Seniors still don't get to vote though they can just attempt to advocate for their old stale ideas.
