Rutger Hauer, Michael Madsen, Christopher Lambert, Geraldine Chaplin, Franco Nero and William Baldwin! Now there's a who's who of "who can with get with a little bit of name recognition for very little money?". I'm going to guess that they all appear for like one scene each too.

This seems so wonderfully trashy in the best sense of the word. And Logan Marshall-Green really manages to sell the concept of him being controlled by some computer or whatever. Comes across even more in the earlier trailer.

Eh, John Wayne stayed out of the war so he could stay home and gently caress Marlene Dietrich. Can you blame him?
Getting out of going to war is very sensible and I'd never hold that against anyone. But if you then turn around and start beating the drums of war you can go gently caress off. John Wayne should burn in hell for making The Green Berets.

Written by the guy who wrote Locke, Eastern Promises and Allied, as well. I'm hopeful.
Trailer looks like poo poo but that writer/director team is amazing. I'll probably check it out if it get really good or really bad reviews. It's just that everything about it screams competent but utterly disposable. Hopefully the new cast and lower budget (I assume) will give Álvarez more freedom to do something interesting.

PS. And note that this is based on the cash-in book written after the author of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo died.

This is certainly one of the most bizarre things I've seen in a long time.

That... is not a good trailer.

Good instinct to use footage from the first films and lean on nostalgia, but the rest of it is just limp, weirdly paced, and poorly edited. I know they're trying to sell emotion and characters more than the big moments, but that did not feel like a trailer for the end to a massive series of blockbusters. It felt like a fan trailer from someone who just graduated from AMVs.
Bold move to go all Schindlers List with your superhero extravaganza.

tree of life is boring rich white guy crap and im embarrassed to have thought it would be interesting because it had dinosaurs and metaphysical universe stuff in it

I quite liked it but my friend I went to see it with said it felt like if a film student read the book of genesis for the first time and then somehow managed to get the worlds best cinematographer.

Okay, everyone, shut up.

Apparently, this is based on a Video Game.

Specifically, based on a PSP game.

Even more specifically, the PSP spinoff of The Getaway on PS2.
The only source for this I can find is wikipedia but the sources linked to by the wiki article clearly say that it's unrelated to the game.

I don't think I've ever seen a movie more accurately capture that "early 2000's FMV video game cinematic" look.

This looks fun, Frank Grillo in an action movie Groundhog Day.

Edit: Trailer doesn't say this but it comes to Hulu March 5th.
This is the stupidest poo poo I've ever seen and I really want to watch it was my reaction to all of these.
