That 'How to talk to girls at parties' trailer is probably the first A24 trailer I'm not sold on. Feels a bit too much like Neil Gaiman's teenage fantasies set to screen to me, and I like Neil Gaiman. kanonvandekempen fucked around with this message at 08:20 on Apr 4, 2018 |

I don't think that movie is for everyone, it is mostly a callback to an older style of making movies, but I really enjoyed it. Embrace the Serpent came out around the same time, dealing with a similar subject, and it is superior in every way though.

New movie in what is apparently now called The Conjuring cinematic universe, of which I don't think I've watched a single movie, apparently they're not bad? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pzD9zGcUNrw I liked the one jump scare in the trailer. thrawn527 posted:Well at least it's by Tim Burton, a consistently good director. I don't have anywhere else to ask this, but has youtube started playing double ads for anyone else in recent days? I've never seen this before. As in: watch add for 5 seconds, skip add, go straight into the next one, skip it after 5 seconds and then onto the video clip you wanted to see.

New Godzilla trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFxN2oDKk0E I don't know how other people feel about this, but this made me less interested in watching the movie. "Oh my God" "...zilla" must be one of the worst lines in a trailer ever. Also, and I realise how neckbeardy this sound, but he moves way too fast for my liking in the shot at 2m03s

Which isn't much, because the crooks in the show are horribly inept at getting anything done. It was some prime WTF material growing up. From your description I knew immediately what show it was, we watched it in Belgium as well. Here's a clip with the music playing. For the uninitiated, Bassie & Adriaan is a show about the adventures of a circus clown and a trapeze artist. The clown is always wearing his clown outfit and makeup. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qbDH9cwBnTs

Anne Frank Funk posted:The government and/or MI6 will never be the bad guy in a Bond movie. Never ever. I always felt that skyfall was pretty explicit in making MI6 (as personified by the Judy Dench character) the bad guy. The plot of the film is literally her going to orphanages, taking kids and turning them into murder machines. It also ends in typical bond fashion, with the assault on the villain's lair where she is killed. And then SPECTRE ignored pretty much everything that made skyfall great, so whatever.
