I used to think that slipcovers meant the copy was from a first pressing, but I just got Blu that isn’t on its first pressing (I assume) [The Cat Returns] with a slipcover.

Recently I’ve been watching some Disney DVDs using a BR player and a 4K non-HDR tv and all the character movements become a series of pixelated lines or blocks. It’s annoying and making me consider upgrading.

I convinced people with only DVD players to buy Blu/DVD combo packs all the time, especially when they were cheaper. It’s the same reason I have now convinced myself to buy 4K discs. It’ll be worth it in the long run, especially if it’s only a few dollars.
