As those of you who follow me on twitter already know I’ve recently relocated to NYC and about 8 minutes ago I heard a loud explosion that almost only could have been one thing: a full can of Monster r brand energy drink being detonated in an enclosed area like a holding cell. If Conor was arrested, he’s almost certainly out & a number of cops are likely dead.

UFC for years now has been WAY too lax with letting fighters do whatever dumb rear end crap they want and it finally bit them fairly bad. Like going way back to DC / Jones 1 when they fought and obviously that should have been the fight cancelled but instead they kept it going and did fox pieces about it and turned that into a big money fight and I think it taught them the wrong lesson... You can look at TUF as an origin too I guess... But realistically someone getting hit in the head with a boomerang is only going to be a weird little non-story so many times, eventually your giant roster of professional fighters are either going to take this dumb crap too far or pick the wrong person or whatever and here we are. A big, big card is cancelled because Khabib attacked someone over twitter beef. The end.
