Havent played in a very long time and could use some pointers. I have Maria (uw), Tanya, Jane, laias, epis and the starter heroes. I still have my uw ticket, a 10x special item ticket, and the ticket for lewisia, miranne or requinna. I was going to get Tanya's uw unless you guys think otherwise. Any tips on what I should do? It's generally agreed-upon that every four-hero party should focus on either magic damage or physical damage for synergy reasons since, eg, a physical attacker can't benefit from Jane's magical-damage buffs, so I wouldn't use Tanya with your magic core if I were you. If you use Lewisia, I'd recommend Laias, because Laias's mana-battery abilities will help her. If yours is tanya you could go Tanya/laias/clause/maria as a phys team, and jam all your UWs into Tanya. Tanya is a pretty great phys main dps who is known for being a monster in pvp. Maria fits in a phys team due to not doing much damage and mostly being there for cc. She’s also a pvp superstar. Just going add that Marianne on the ticket is another notably really good main dps. Alternatively, you could also pick Mirianne from the 3 hero pick ticket. She's a boss nuker who's easy to build in terms of gear as her UW, skills, and perks can provide a lot of attack, attack speed, and crit rate by themselves already. e: f b Also, like ldragon mentioned, you can just pick one main dps hero to waifu/husbando and pour resources into building him/her up, and build a team around that. Miri is cool and good and is my main as well as Gigabeef's main. She is very very strong at higher UW stars and with some magic support can crank out fuckloads of single target damage. She's also a pvp shotgun who consistently gets me thru diamond with like a 95%+ win rate.

That said, Lewisia is also super good at long fights and isn't terrible at shorter ones. But she's fantastic for things like magic world boss and the new world boss. She's also in my Dragon team and my magic 4 man team. But the latter can't really compete with Phillop/Gladi/Mitra/Medi any more. Gladi is really good for short fights and amps up everybody else. Mitra scales like crazy with long fights and is okay for short/medium ones. Medi is a hell of an amp, she adds 10 million DPS to my Mitra in guild raids. And Phillop is of course the defacto Physical tank.

On the topic of Tanya, I'm trying to build her up a little since I'd been planning on using her for my phys team, and, I think I'm Tanyaing wrong I'm taking her along for conquests, she's about the same level as Epis with her UW on-pace with her level, and she's doing like 1/10th the damage Epis is doing, and then dying Is there something I'm not doing right with her or what

Now that you have access to t7 gear you have to start paying a bit of attention to it. Your main dps (laudia,epis,artemia, and aisha) want roughly gear that has 4 sub lines of each of atk, atk speed, crit, and crit damage. Tanya in particular wants as close to 100% crit chance as you can get her after things like the priest crit buff or annette's overcharge. The next thing is that you want to be using gear from optimaly only one dragon type. Doing that gives you 2 more lines of whatever the set bonus is with 4 pieces of that dragon gear. (You can go 2 and 2 from different sets, it's slightly less optimal but not enough to care). Frey wants as much atk as you can jam on her as her T5 dark is amazing. Lorraine wants mana/atk, atk speed (and crit chance if you get her UT3). Annette wants Atk speed and Atk, as her t5 dark is pretty much exactly frey's. Your aselica wants about 600 in both blocks, and 1 M and P tough rune in her UW (P/M block def beat tough at 80%+ block). Now that you have a bunch of people and options for who you can use you want to decide on which of your 4 main dps you like the most and awaken their UW to 3*s as soon as you can as that is a major power buff for them. Now if you need help with dragons for gear just ask in the discord and somebody should be available to help you.

Gear is absolutely making the difference -- my main party (Aselica/Laudia/Lorraine/Frey) is much more powerful now that I got a bunch of t8 gear from the first Christmas event and spent approximately forever spamming the regular item summon to level it all up. Tanya even has some t7 stuff now (although I haven't been bothering with leveling it since theoretically she shouldn't be in the 70s for long). If she was just dying a lot that'd be one thing; I'm just not sure why she's doing so poorly relative to Epis, because Epis isn't geared either and hasn't been since I switched from her to Laudia for my main party. Epis only has about 5 levels on her, which didn't seem like enough to make that much of a difference, but I'm starting to think that might actually be at least some of the problem here, because I tried some on-level conquests with the rest of my phys party (Phil/Tanya/Selene/Mediana) and her DPS is inconsistent but not worryingly low in that context. Which makes your tip about how Tanya wants more crit chance make a lot more sense. Thanks for the tips -- I'll try to gear Tanya out for crit chance, throw some pluses at her gear, and work on getting more UW stars for my main party

Yeah, I put in the monthly reddit feedback thread that I missed having the old loading screens. Erze and Nia are the worst. This game is good, and has managed to keep my attention for over 6 months, which is much longer than any other phone game I've played. I don't want this thread to die, even though most of us are in the Discord. I've gotten Kara's UW to 4* at this point, and I'm torn between saving up to try and 5* it, or focusing on some other characters for a while. I see the benefits of both, it's just a steep cost for even the first try at a 5* (if you follow the formula, you start with a 2*, which is already a minimum investment of 3 UWs). Has anyone heard anything about a Valentine's day event yet? I've been saving all my TP tokens because I'm a hoarder and I don't want to make the wrong decision. I've decided however that Annette is probably the highest impact character for me to put these on. The next question then, is where do I spend the points? What's your favorite way to get characters leveled up to 90? Obviously Conquest - Hell is part of it. I tried using my A-team with the two biggest flask sizes equipped, but that got expensive fast. Now I've been leveling up 4-at-a-time running through Conquest - Hard until enough of them can equip T8 gear, by which point I can usually get through the Hell levels up through ch6 (which give something like 5-600k xp per battle for low-mid 80s). It's kind of fun, and gives me some interesting team comps (right now I'm leveling Ricardio, Artemia, Nyx, and Laias). Does anyone run the XP levels on the adventure maps, like overnight afk? Is there a better way to get random cool dudes to level 90?

Yeah, there's a decent contingent of us in discord. For actual content, Chapter 9 is coming out next Wednesday! Details are a bit scant (https://www.plug.game/kingsraid/1030449/posts/17451?lfrom=copyUrl) but it doesn't look like T9 gear (hooray), just a new gear set that buffs other people.

New patch and events going on is a good time for people to join. They are giving out a 3* ticket up to relatively new units and the rest of the login bonuses are good. The fragment rumor is on so one of the biggest time gates can be blown past as long as you have energy. There is a transcendence event so you get items for ranking up your dudes. They've also updated the starting experience to be more generous in a previous patch as well as reworked the visuals on all the starters.

I can't help but notice that even though there's a new chapter, the level-cap has stayed where it is. I haven't tried the new story content, but is it safe to assume that if I'm having trouble reliably clearing Chapter 8 on Hard mode (my main party of Aselica, Lorraine, either Laudia or Epis, and either Frey or Laias is all 90/5* with maxed T8 gear and UWs so I'm not quite sure why that might be at this point, but there it is) the same will apply to Chapter 9 on Story Mode? (this is especially annoying because it means I can't clear Temeraire's Lair either  )Oh also has anybody tried the new characters yet? Any thoughts? Got 7200 rubies burning a hole in my pocket.

I'm something like 3/4 the way through Chap 8 hard with a not quite maxed T8 gear on Artemia, Annete, Laias and Morrah. Artemia and Annette have 4 star weapons each. The things that provide me the biggest jumps tend to just be damage growth. Occassionally I'll see Morrah survivability suffering but when that happens I've just been regearing her slightly more for survival.

For chapter 8 hard, which stages are you struggling on? The harder stages pretty much work around having someone who can do a lot of AoE burst damage, because they have mobs that you can't CC lockdown forever and will likely jump into your back line. I eventually beat hell mode by going Lavril/Frey/Luna/Ricardo. My Luna has a 5* UW but I feel like even with a lower one it would have been okay. Turns out steroids work! My main problem definitely appears to be DPS -- starting around Normal-mode Infira (8-26) I'm having trouble reliably killing bosses before my timer runs out and they start superbuff-instakilling people one by one. None of my DPS have stars on their UWs, though -- used up the last of my tickets getting a star for Aisha and a star for Lorraine (Lorraine is bae), hopefully that helps.

Depends, the hardest scaling units are probably Mitra for phys and Kara, the thing they are useful for long duration encounters and not much else. Rodina scales pretty hard and is one of the strongest heroes for time challenges. But things might have changed with the extra points and transcendancies. Ive seen an incredibly nutty composition that had a Lilia doing almost one billion dps

Just use whoever you like most. The metal shifts and if you're not top 1% with your 5* dps then you wouldn't be anyway unless you whale 5 or 6 5*. Just pump up characters you like, but definitely get a dps to at least 4* IMO. I have a 5* Mirianne and a 5* Lilia (on alt) and boy are they both really good.
