Beast Machines was set to air on Fox Kids, a different network from Beast Wars's original airing. BW did eventually air on Fox Kids but they wanted a fairly clean break while still riding the commercial success of BW. They didn't want Beast Wars Season 4, but they wanted to still leverage popular characters and existing molds. If the main characters are still Primal and Cheetor, and the characters are still mostly animals, that drives sales of remaining shelf stock, keeps trademarks active, and lets you rerelease old toys with new color schemes to cheaply bolster the toyline.

Now, Beast Machines went bust. The toys sold poorly - they were awkward and looked very little like the onscreen designs, the plotting was repetitive, and Beast Fatigue had probably set in. Plans to finish off the trilogy with a series called "TransTech" were scuttled and Armada was put into pre-production, with Kenner (the Beast Wars toy team) taken off the gig and fully absorbed into Hasbro, and a new Hasbro/Takara partnership for toy design established. To fill the airing gap until Armada in 2002, Hasbro had Saban dub an anime, "Car Robots".

So Linkara got screwed over on his taxes to the tune of owing $11,000. So after making the first payment of $4k, he's running a three day pokemon nuzlocke to firstly, pay his taxes, and anything after the goal of $7600 for that is going to a charity named when he actually hits the goal number. While Sonic is still the current subject, I want to discuss how the hell youtube decides its pricing for buying shows on its platform. Sonic Undergound: 27.99 Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog: 39.99! And what about SatAM, the one that everyone loves? 19.99 These are just for season 2 btw. Meanwhile you can grab dvds off amazon for like 8 bucks a season.
