I understand not seeing a movie you have no interest in. But it seems odd to actively root for a film to bomb just because it isn’t for you. It would be one thing if you hated it, or found the concept grossly offensive, but hoping that particular movies flop seems a bit extreme. I’m personally bored to tears at most superhero movies, but I don’t begrudge their box office performance. For what it’s worth, I really enjoyed Solo but thought the marketing campaign was terrible and the May release a big mistake.
