I really appreciate how legit this religion is. Sarga could have just pushed out some half-assed cult thing that doesn't work, but here we are with a physical demigod, reincarnation, self-sustaining doctrine, and barely any wanton slaughter or destruction.

The religion is young and hopeful and running on zeal. After a while there will be people who are bored with it, or feel it doesn't live up to the promises, or something else will go wrong and disillusion people.

I think getting the Faye in on this would be a great deal, they would know the most about this magical natural stuff and will probably fight to the death to protect this god-tree, and Sarga still gets the credit for getting things done. A B C Someone can probably make an incredible longbow out of this branch, Seaglass might appreciate that.

Using time dilation to grow ents sounds like it would not work well. They probably need to be connected to the real world for the nature magic and junk.

Y'know, Sarga has made quite a few powerful allies. Besides the villain island goobers, she's got the treant god and the weird elves on her side (as a side effect this got the weirdos off the island safely!), got in good with nobility of an empire thanks to a vibrant new religion with a living shark god, and on top of that can probably call in a favour from the king who got a brand new perfect son. Much better than just going around mangling villagers and getting a bad rep.
