5. The Siblings Scylla and Charybdis are looking for an ambitious amphibious Dungeon builder. The straits that are inhabited by the siblings have recently seen a massive decline in traffic, as explorers have found a new route to bypass their strait. They are therefore looking for an enterprising dungeoneer that will set up a new dungeon along that new route and sink ships that try to travel along it, thus funneling traffic back to the original route. Project requires a percentage quota of ships to be sunk every week that will start at 25% and rise to 90% as Dungeon construction progresses.

2B - Let's make one shark man first to help capture more humans and guard the cave, then the rest will be crab people.

If we're going for 2B, I think it's better to do the shark man last this week, since we'll need to fill that chest with crystals. The first creature we create will have five days of work before the first deadline, the second three and the third one, I don't see a shark man shaving enough time off other tasks to justify wasting at least two days of work on the first delivery.

That way we should be able to mine both shipments of gems before their respective deadlines, though it'll have to be crabman - mining - crabman

That's a great idea but we've got mana issues. If there was enough support to combine her with the severed hand and an octopus I'd change my vote to that.

If you want to corrupt someone you gotta take your time, so I'd say transform the others first and then start our work on her for the remaining duration of the contract. We might not even finish it before the contract is up if we want to be thorough.

The Dread Piratess Angelique is now looking for someone to salvage as much of the wreckage as possible before Kolpertan Heroes and the Atlantean Royal Guard pick it clean. Applicant will receive a percentage of the recovered loot as payment. A bonus will be paid for every hero and guard captain that dies during the recovery process.

Accept their demands, designate the most ambitious one of them as the leader of the lodge, after we're done here release them into the world of villainy.
The most villainous way to play this is obviously to help gently caress over every other villain by creating a push for minions to unionize.
Also unions are good :colbert:

Raid a few ships passing through the strait and turn them into crabbersons and shrimpmen, make some more of that shark thing that ate the original seaglass.
Take stock.

How about we turn the volcano back into an island and set up sea based defences? We're better at them anyway, so might as well. If we also tell the Faye about it, they can establish an outpost on the island.

Turn the entwood into a magical bow for Seaglass, she started out by claiming a hero's bow after all, so now she gets her own.

A Turn the volcano into an island
Way easier to defend imo, while it might cool the chance of war somewhat, this still leaves Rootstock on a strategically important island controlling a major sealane, an important position if there ever was one.
Also: since the volcano is part of the land bridge, there would be fighting directly where Rootstock is planted if we do nothing, so we might want to avoid that.

Blasphemaster posted:

All of the above.

Each social tier is empowered to vote on issues of Empire Policy, but the higher the tier the more weight to the vote..

I.E. A simple peasant/citizen can vote on all issues for the Empire, but their vote does not have the weight of say, a noble or a senator. The lower tiers are of course free to try an influence the higher ones. Recognize that in any attempt at equality, some are going to be more equal than others.

As one climbs the local social ladder, their vote get increasingly consequential in the Empire. So everyone has a say, but the more important you are the more say you have. Just how much influence each tier gets is to be hashed out among the member states. However all total popular votes come out to 2/3 of those in the system, as the Emperor has a single vote with weight equal to the remaining 1/3. General policy is decided by majority vote, and issues of severe importance such as a declaration of war or selecting the Emperor requires 2/3 majority. Votes are instantly tabulated via prayer.

So the Emperor has a huge amount of say and has to at the very least keep a good chunk of the Empire's populace content to be able to act as, essentially, the sole 'Decider'. But if enough of the population can agree on something they can overrule the Emperor. Though let's be real here that will almost never happen.

So in general practice the Emperor is the head of a Federation. Empire/Federation...gently caress it, call it the Federal Asheran Empire. The FAE. :v:

The Federal Empire's rules supercede those of the member states, but otherwise they continue to run their local business as usual. So let's say Christina gets picked to be Emperor, she's still in charge of her kingdom, and also generally gets to decide what the FAE does but is not a tyrant.

Hope that makes sense.

So your plan is to build the Estates General while the new empire is facing a revolutionary republic? I'm not sure how well that's going to go tbh.
