On the other hand, he was also trying to be a good dad and explain to his son that yeah, this was great, your team just won the World Series and you should be happy about that, but it's not usually like this, and part of being a fan of a team is that you keep watching and caring even when they're not doing so well. Anyway, I think he was also trying to get the kid to be interested in the A's, and I was like, welp, this is my corner, good luck with that, man.
