There is not a single surviving original post in my entire post history. Even the posts that were perfect. I go back and subtly edit changing punctuation or word choice. It has consumed me. Did you ever see e/n back in the day when edit was deleted? It was a hilarious, permanently visible, train wreck, yet also a hilarious and nervous train wreck when Abe was mod because he would ban you for like, spelling “the” wrong, which you couldn’t fix in a quick edit before he caught it. It wouldn't make a huge difference for me since i don't remember a lot of the embarrassing stuff i post unless someone quotes me the next day. Even then i dont go back and edit it out because who gives a poo poo.
