This is an issue I felt needed more awareness and discussion. I'm sure it's something we've all experienced at some point in our lives. It might be something you have experienced personally, or watched a friend/loved one go through. That something is AFC West Brain. This condition has no cure that we know of, with no relief in sight. It makes people do awful things such as threatening Ed Hochuli, hating noted cool guy Alex Smith, or even thinking Derek Carr is a good quarterback. If you suffer from this condition yourself, you would do your peers a huge favor by sharing stories of living with such an ailment. This also goes for people who have experienced AFC West Brain through the suffering of someone they love. I'm sure a lot of us can remember the heartbreak we felt upon seeing a friend with AFC West paraphernalia for the first time. Thoughts and prayers to those affected. Hopefully we can one day find a cure.

The 2009 2-7 Raiders were a garbage organization who had one good player in Nnamdi and a bunch of bad players led by JaMarcus Russell. Some random backup QB comes in to beat pretty good Steelers and Bengals teams in last minute heroics and still it shocks SA2K that he's become folklore taught to young Raiders fans The more I read this thread the more it becomes apparent that AFC North brain is the true underlying cause

It sounds like there is a little to much competitiveness in the division for you, not enough of a "sure thing". I would prescribe a dose of staticness. Find a division where the winning team is practically predetermined before the season even starts, and root for one of the other three.

But Peters was suspended in the Raiders game last season when Carr went 24/41 with 200 yards and 2 INTs. Berry and Peters were on the sidelines and Carr still needed 40 attempts to hit 200 yards...is this your king?

Ball out against other teams, then throw lame ducks straight at KC defenders over and over. He's lucky to only have thrown 6 picks in those games. Not that I'm complaining, he's free to keep that up as long as he wants to.
