Benne posted:-- Hogan is infamously maligned by WON voters, but this is like the one category where they were willing to give him credit. But not Dusty, apparently. Also as much as I love Bret, there's absolutely nothing he did in 1996 that should be seen as "Charismatic". He only wrestled like...8 matches that year anyways. But Bret getting no votes at all for Most Outstanding Wrestler is a travesty. I get that his prime coincided with the peak of Japanese Wrestling, but...

--Hulk and Orndorff got 1st and 3rd in 1986 despite doing record house show business. Hulk was also #1 in 1985. I can understand hating Hogan, but that's what "Readers Least Favorite Wrestler" was for. No matter how much you hate Hogan, how you can POSSIBLY justify called him overpushed in 85-86??? --Billy Gunn got points for 98 and 2000 but NOT in 1999 where he actually won KotR and was 2nd from the top at Summerslam against the Rock. --Bret Hart got Overrated points for 94 (and WHO exactly else was going to draw in the WWF at that point) and 95 (despite spending the entire year in Midcard Hell). Notable people who got NO votes for Overrated in 95: --Sabu --Shane Douglas --Jeff loving Jarrett --ANY member of the Dungeon of Doom --SID!!!! How exactly was Vince McMahon a "Non-Wrestler" in 1999 when he main-evented multiple PPVs, won the Royal Rumble, and even WON THE WWF TITLE.

Vince had as many TV/PPV matches in 1999 as Brock Lesnar has had since 2015. He main evented 4 PPVs that year.

SatoshiMiwa posted:Not shocked Gorilla isn't on here cause while he was the best WWF announcer with Bobby he was the worst with anyone else. He was great with Ventura and even OK with Lord Alfred Hayes a good bit of the time. But the votes for Mark Madden alone are justification for burning the WON awards to the ground for this category.

I really wanna know why TNA Impact was simultaneously the Best TV Show and 2nd Worst TV Show in 2012.

Not a bad promo, to be honest: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-YUMpTSBLw But Jay Lethal is still at least 20x better.

Very surprised to see that D-X and Kane both got votes in 1997--(also nWo in 96 and Kurt Angle in 2000) ah, loving wrestling nerds... Also I guess Mike Awesome got points combined for both "Fat Chick Thriller" AND "That 70's Guy"? I mean they were almost the same gimmick--plus there was a lot worse in 2000 WCW alone than both of those--Gary Coleman and the Partridge Family Bus included or not.
