Bell Delphine is the Bjork of camgirls. She's utterly bizarre, but in a laser-focused way to get lonely gamers' money.

Anyone who can grift incel gamers as well as she does while barely concealing their contempt for their customers is alright by my book, and goes on my list of cool people. I am, of course, including these dead gay forums on that list so my judgement is questionable

Everyone has a short window they can do something like that woman. May as well divorce some losers from their money while you can. She's not my kind of thing, but I can appreciate an artist excelling at their craft.

Pearchan has gained probably 150-200 pounds since then, yeah. Ironically (?) she gained a lot in the upper half of her body, so she really looks more like an applechan now.

is this guy Blue Story's husband? Moving Sucks, But Especially If You're a Geek "just renting out storage units and engineering complex infrastructure to ferry my mounds of plastic nerd poo poo down the street, you know, like all normal nerds do all the time, right fellow nerds?" You know it's bad when even the Kotaku commentators are dunking on you. I ran across the saddest series of videos on fb awhile back - a friend of a friend's fiance had passed away suddenly, leaving behind a hoard of funkos so huge she had no idea what to do with them. People persuaded the widow to list them on fb and they'd buy them to help her out, but there were so many she couldn't even do photos for listings, so she made videos panning over each one. The total video time was over 2 hours. Imagine that being your legacy, just a bunch of loving plastic garbage so huge it becomes a burden on your loved ones just trying to get rid of it.

Part of my job is being a vulture and flipping stuff I buy at auctions. Some are estates and some are just from people moving or downsizing. The boomer version is hundreds of Goebbels, plates or decorative glass (that no one wants because their only memories of it are their grandmother yelling at them to never touch it). It feels weird seeing thousands of toy cars and models. I just went to one like that and it just screams "you can't take it with you." Craziest one was an out-of-state sale that was supposedly an entire farmhouse that had every flat space covered with $50 and up fire trucks and police cars. Probably 10,000+ models in the whole sale, just put in trays and sold in mass because piecing them out would drive someone mad.

Yea my wife and I helped clean out her hoarder uncle's house a few months ago. He gave us a bunch of tobacco tins stuffed with nickels, dimes and quarters from the 40's to the 70's that he and his mother had stuffed away. After organizing them by date and silver content, and after checking for any rare coins (there were none), we brought them to a coin dealer. The $200 in change was worth a whopping total of $325 in silver melt with a few minor rare-ish coins. If the family had invested that $200 in the S&P in 1960 it would have seen a 500% return, or a 3250% return with dividends reinvested.

I’m garbage at buying gifts because something broke in my head and all I see when I go shopping is plastic poo poo that has had a negative impact in the world, might provide a spark of joy upon being received, and then years of being junk in one place or another until it takes up its share of a landfill.

The older I get, the more I feel the same way. I've started to gift consumables and gift cards to the movies or donations to the arbor day foundation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llyrRwSvpuI

I feel that. It's why last year for Christmas I went with buying board games and pawning it off as gifting the experience (they were still disappointed that I didn't give them trinkets). This year I'm going to freeze a bunch of meals because I know none of them cook anymore.

Getting old is gaining an appreciation for receiving highly-functional gifts that, while not entertaining, are used every single day. I love me some merino wool trail socks. Magic cards are also nice to receive but it's challenging pretending to be enthused opening a trash rare from randomised product.

It'll be like Up except instead of flying away, I'm going to torch every trace of my existence off the face of the earth.
