Furries and kids makes me think of the homeless in Vegas who have bought rented Elmo/buzz light year costumes and try to charge for photos. For example I saw Elmo passed out in a gutter surrounded by liquor bottles and a mum desperately trying to steer her excited daughter away from him.

Happy b'day raccoon mod. I was on a really average tinder date a couple years back, things just weren't working out but we were going through the motions. One of my friends had been texting me and asked how it was going. I replied back that it was boring as hell and that this girl had no personality. Then I promptly sent the message to her. Her phone dinged as soon as I hit send and my stomach dropped. I honestly can't really remember what I said after that, she was foreign and asked me what it meant and I bullshited away into a awkward silence. Date went on for a bit after that though so no idea how I wheedled my way out of that one.

Untreated mental health problems are pretty AUG. Used to know a welder in Vancouver in his 40s named Holice (sp?). Was work friends with my room-mate and was a totally functional member of society beyond thinking that the CIA was tracking him. The CIA would listen in on him with radio waves as he could sometimes hear the signals, what he described sounded very much like tinnitus to me and I was curious about it. He alluded to "things he'd done" in the past the justify the attention but never went into details. He told me the next time he was over that he couldn't discuss it again because if he did then the CIA hurt him with high power signals. He lived on a farm property on the outskirts of the city and had a lead lined basement apparently, he was convinced that all his neighbours were paid off to harass him which would lead to insane situations and also the local kids loving with him a bunch. He described one time how he was coming home and a neighbour was suspiciously close to his property. To teach him a lesson he wildly swerved his truck off the road and accelerated at him, making sure to wait until the last possible moment before swerving back.
