I mean technically we looted all that gear and shiny crown from a Sha'ahoul General right? So it's not really stealing from a king if you think about it.

More like the 'how dare you whine at literally the only guy doing anything to save your collective asses' card. He's saving the world, let him have the shiny pants.

It's an RPG, which means random bandits with dull kitchen knives will gladly attack a protagonist wizard decked in full magical plate. My theory is that people just don't see the weapons and the armor on the protagonist, which means we're safe. A reverse emperor's new clothes if you will.

The problem with that theory is that Olan specifically noted we were wearing the boots he was looking for when we did that quest for him in Chapter One. Or maybe Olan is just preternaturally perceptive.

Elves sneaking around hanging 'kick me' signs on people's asses? Okay then.

Also didn't pick Wyatt as the type to wear thigh-highs, but each to their own.

At least these elves have a sense of humor.

Rogues are always the kinkiest, in my experience.

I mentioned before that they don't, but I found out a little bit beyond where the updates are currently that that is incorrect! They do get stronger, it's just at a set rate as we progress through the quests. We can't spend points on them directly. That's probably why I didn't realize.

I'm glad to know they DO get better. If they didn't, I imagine they'd start to get outclassed by encounters.

Does the cost of increasing stats increase as the stat goes up or is it a 1:1 stat:tp ratio?

Yes, each stat increases in cost by 1 TP as the non-adjusted base hits 20, and each 10 thereafter. So main attributes like Strength goes from 4 TP to 5, and focused attributes like Combat go from 2 to 3. With Goondalf's Mysticism currently in the 40s, each point costs 5 Training Points. Still worth it, since Mysticism is the god-stat, but I am going to take the opportunity to increase other stuff in this chapter.

Well, the lizards are a different species. It's no different from humans keeping and eating livestock. I shouldn't think the cows approve of that either. It's their own fault for being made from tasty things :colbert:

...the unicorn is named Mikki. I assume in true young-teen-girl fashion the i's are dotted with little hearts or smiley faces?

I do love the variety of fashion in this game. From faceless eldritch horror to dude in denim dungarees. :allears:

Absolutely, but it has to be accompanied by a dramatically billowing cape of some sort. It must billow dramatically at all times. Even while sleeping.

Things we have learned in this update:

1. Elves still suck.

2. Wyatt really does like fetish wear.

3. Dire wolves do not appreciate fashion.

Also disappointed Goondalf didn't get to ride the teenage unicorn. Given his way with the ladies - and with anyone else requiring human speech, generally - I'm sure he's, cough, qualified.

Ah yes. Infiltrating the Sha'Ahoul camp.

The stealth chapter is pretty fun, and infinitely easier with spellcasting. We'll now find out more about our mysterious enemy through the power of pig masks and pantomime.

I must say I'm enjoying the fashion shows at the end of each update, and the LP itself as well. I love learning more about PC rpgs of this vintages. :allears:

It also helps that the Goondalf portrait looks exactly like me so I can live vicariously through him.

You killed the doggos.

Truly, Goondalf has become what he once opposed. No fashionable pants can save him now.

Your utter evilness aside, I don't know how I feel about the Scoutmaster also randomly being an undercover agent in addition to being the best and able to teach you all these impressive upgrades and such. Quite apart from the 'so why didn't he do everything we just did months ago?' issue, it's a little bit teenager's-pet-expy-RP-character (complete with dramatic backstory) and doesn't really add anything to the plot. Unless he's going to be important later or something.

This game is good enough to have earned plenty of slack anyway so it's not a big deal, just a slightly off note.
