I hope that new Splinter Cell happens, I miss that series and Metal Gear is dead sadly. I thought Blacklist was a mess and needed better focus, but other than that I'm excited for a fresh start (with Ironside voicing obviously)

AR is severely limited because it's simply overlaying 3D models over video footage. VR is still in early adopter stages but developers are making progress and players are getting used to the sensations of being inside a 3d environment, it just needs time to grow and there's plenty of diehard enthusiasts who are willing to keep supporting new VR titles and hardware.

Bioshock 1 had some neat bits, but it ended with a real whimper. Minerva's Den is supposed to be amazing, but that was by a 3rd party studio.

The combat gameplay of Dragon's Dogma is unmatched and beyond excellent but my god everything else in that game is the biggest slog. Would love for Capcom to farm out some of those ideas to Platinum. The story is good because it alludes to the climax in 1990s style JRPGs where you have to talk to everyone and then it goes balls out buck wild that nothing until God of War ‘18 tried to challenge.
