D-backs have lost 15 of 17, squandering their great start. The pitching is there but the offense is absolutely anemic. :smithicide:

Not that anyone cares, but Martin Prado came back from being injured and rehabbing only to tear his hamstring pretty severely. Not sure on the extent yet but it could be career threatening.

I think it's 14 of 16 as of now unless I am mistaken, but maybe you somehow know they are going to lose the upcoming Sunday day game so this will probably be right soon enough.

If this was 2-4 years ago I would just shrug and figure business as usual, but after having a good year last year and a great April this year it is pretty frustrating.

Never heard of this guy but 1952 Tigers Walt Dropo hit consecutively in 12 AB, beating a record established by Pinky Higgins of the 1938 Boston Red Sox. A record that stands.

I just looked it up as Jose Altuve had 10 consecutive hits and just lined out.

12 consecutive hits is a stat that on the face of it might seem ho-hum to non-fans but apparently it is near impossible to do. (unless you're facing the Indians bullpen)

e: Johnny Kling, who debuted with Chicago Orphans of the National League in 1900 established the record that Dropo tied.
