in breath of the wild, I found out my horse will run up and eat the apples off a tree I just chopped down if I don't get to them fast enough. But it makes the horse happy so there's that. Not super impressed by the game, honestly. Constantly having swords break on me is a real hassle and the controls are not real friendly in the Switch's handheld mode. looking real hard at that Mario/Rabbid tactical game.

Watching Cromartie High School for the first time in a couple years and it's still one of the funniest shows ever mad, also one of the best English dubs the anime industry has ever made(like it's one of those rare shows where I prefer the dub over the original Japanese) Also started watching Overlord the other day and outside of a couple awkward fanservice moments it's been pretty good so far, does it turn to crap later on* or does it stay good? *besides fanservice stuff that is, I'm mostly unphased by that kind of stuff since I've been watching anime with that kind of stuff in it since I was like 8

I watched all of season 1 of Overlord and thought it was enjoyable. I'm not sure if there is a season 2 but it definitely deserves one.

Season 3 is airing now, it should be wrapping up in a week or two. The anime that I Ioved these last few months is Planet With. One episode to go so we'll see if they stick the landing, but they've told a great story.

Man I really hate how much people price gouge when it comes to old games, like on a whim I fished out my Wii and was thinking about getting some more games for it and the GameCube and it's ridiculous how much people are asking for some games, like it kinda makes sense for some of the rarer games, but I can't see any reason to sell a copy of SSBM for more than maybe 30 bucks(and even that is kinda a ripoff) outside of being a greedy rear end in a top hat

Hey friends, it's ya boy BJR. Today I put in my notice at my job that I've been doing forever so I could make some more positive steps in my life and my anxiety is cranking off the charts. I think it was a good idea and will ultimately benefit me, but mental illness gonna mental illness. I guess this is essentially kind of a white noise post, but I needed to feel like I wasn't just screaming into the void. Namaste.

I know it doesn't work for everyone but Duloxetine has helped me control my anxiety instead of letting it run roughshod on my life.

So booting up my Nintendo Wii for the first time in years and it's surprisingly gotten me kinda depressed, not only in seeing the state of it's online features, but also seeing the signs of how much time has passed since it was last used, as the calendar indicates that the last time the console actually got played was all the way back in December of 2012(which was itself almost a year prior to the move that led to it being in storage till today), not to mention some other tragic bits(like discovering that the Mii of my brother's now deceased ex girlfriend is still on there) On the plus side I did in fact buy Paper Mario for it back in the day and it's still on there along with a couple other ones Also I'll probably end up modding it so I can do homebrew stuff with it since I don't have to worry about online compatibility anymore

Speaking of work, I finally got some numbers on the contract I mentioned and... Holy crap. It's not ridiculous money or anything but it's more than I personally will have ever seen on a check 8 times over the next two years and it's also a potential springboard to move work. I'm kinda literally stunned.
