McAvoy got added to the US team. That's pretty big for what is a fairly sketchy defense. They just barely beat Latvia today but lead the group. I think they have one more roster spot and my guess would be it will go to like Guentzel or Connor if the Jets lose. Pastrnak/Krejci got added to the Czechs and Vlasic got added to Canada.

It'd be cool if he went although generally with Americans you don't see veterans coming this late in the tournament (or at all really lol). I'd take any of those guys. Didn't Wheeler play a little center with Scheifele out this year? They need another center badly. Also the Czechs beat Russia in OT today. Well that was ugly. So one side will be: Finland vs Switzerland Sweden/Russia vs Canada and the other: Sweden/Russia vs. Denmark/Latvia US vs. Czech Republic The Czech team is pretty strong and the US could be in for yet another QF loss. Actually with the way Canada is playing it could be an all Euro final four.
