 West Hutchinson #1 - Frontier Gossip - A Game of Mafia  In the small mining town of Ulysses, deeply embedded in the frontier state of West Hutchinson, life is quiet and change is not welcome. Two-bit snake oil salesman are chased out before they’re allowed to set up shop, and talks of a second rail line to insure the first and bring added commerce to the town have been promised for so long it's nothing more than a joke. But sometimes change finds even the most unwelcoming of it. Something has been found down in the salt mine that has locals buzzing with gossip. Some claim it’s long-lost Indian treasure, and some have even claimed to see a faint green glow in the mine’s general direction. Assuredly it’s nothing, you know how small towns are… Frontier Gossip is a game of mafia for 15 people. Standard mafia rules apply. Thread will be closed at night, don't post after a day action or a hammer, etc. This game is a majority-execute game. No plurality executions. If someone does not have enough votes by the day's deadline, there is a no-execute. Don't import drama, be petty towards others or make things personal in this thread. Day 1: Anonymous Narcotics, Old Nan Hobart, Doc (town-aligned doctor) was executed. Night 1: CapitalistPig, Pootie Jenkins, Piano Man (town-aligned vanilla), was murdered. Day 2: Slamburger, Lynn Cathcart, Gossip (scum-aligned watcher), was executed. Night 2: Hal Incandenza, Florence Gyles, Rancher (town-aligned mason), was killed. Day 3: Nobody was executed due to an unsuccessful scramble at deadline. Night 3: Dick Bastardly, Bryce McNitt, Elixir Salesman (town-aligned tracker), was killed. Still writing role PMs. Determining when to send them out because I'm driving for four hours in the morning to visit my mom for mother's day. Might do it tonight, we'll see. As a pregame note, this game will contain a couple ~~experimental mechanics~~ that may or may not unfold as it goes on. It should be fun! I think it will be, at least.  Additionally, I am an idiot and have @'s turned on in discord universally so if anything comes up during the course of this game that needs my attention or you need my counsel for something immediately, just PM me on discord or @ me in the samafia server and, unless I am urgently busy, I will probably get to you pretty quickly. It's certainly more reliable than SA PM's as far as time sensitivity goes. My mom's house has pretty lovely internet though so ymmv between tomorrow and Tuesday.
