I defended the other team's obviously best player a few times and held my own, which I was happy with. Then one rush he sped up and just went around me effortlessly, I barely touched him, and he scored without the keeper having any chance. In the locker room later I was told he'd been a pro in the Czech league and just held back most of the time so as not to ruin it for everyone. I hope that is what the Capitals have been doing.

Imo no bad outcome for the scf. Vegas is max comedy and chaos option, which is hard to deny. But ovi is the poo poo and should get a cup. My heart kind of wants VGK just for the absurdity. But I think this will be the first round where everyone has accepted that they’re the real deal and not just a novelty, which narratively makes sense that it would be when they’ve finally earned respect that they lose, so yeah
