She just released Dirty Computer, perhaps her masterpiece of an album, perhaps containing Prince's last great masterpiece in Make Me Feel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tGRzz0oqgUE. (Seriously, it's alright.)
She has released three super excellent albums including this year's Dirty Computer - The ArchAndroid (2010) and The Electric Lady (2013), previously. They contain some amazing funk and soul cuts and are worth a re-visit.

Somehow none of this amazing poo poo has failed to chart, not like that -really- matters.

She actually scored #6 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on the R&B charts for the first time with this album.
I love Dirty Computer. It's her most direct and political album, and also is much more compact genre-wise, and feels like it flows between tracks better than her previous works. I still love ArchAndroid the most, but Dirty Computer is a loving jam.
Make Me Feel and Django Jane are fire.
