I'd suspect that Tony Gilroy cut down the five season plan for Andor not because of the workload like publicly stated, but because he realized that it was redundant once he heard of Snyder's own take on the story.

The thing about Dash is, he's so obviously a Han Solo ripoff that the challenge of casting him would be which flavor of "Han Solo, but..." do you lean into or away from? rear end in a top hat? Charmer? Goof? Badass? Braggadocio? Ever since watching the original Han Solo auditions, I always thought of him as Kurt Russell. So I guess Wyatt Russell is the easy answer, even if he's a bit goofier than his dad. 10 years ago I would've liked Josh Holloway. Tom Burke from Furiosa could probably pull it off. Hell, Chris Helmsworth could do an interesting version. Anyway, we all know they'd cast Chris Pratt
