I've been reading the old GBS archives and I've realized two things: One: we used to be a pretty rowdy bunch. I'd forgotten just how high energy ForumID=1 really was. I'm not gonna get hung up on "oh the forums used to be better" BS but it really was a magical place. Also a lot of names in these old threads have "Permabanned" next to them. Two: my old threads were largely terrible. I dunno why nowadays I stress out so much about coming up with good thread ideas to live up to the reputation of "classic" Applewhite. Classic Applewhite posted whatever the gently caress popped into his head and didn't care if people thought he was funny (which is good because he usually wasn't). I don't even remember starting most of these and can hardly imagine starting them now. I think I remember you posting in other forums like Games and stuff years ago and I always thought your posts were deece or maybe it was just your av/title. maybe you should try going back to that instead of worrying about how artfully you can make garbage posts in the garbage forum
